Michel Kambi is a Belgian-Congolese designer working at the intersection of product design, material culture, and storytelling. His practice investigates how objects can carry memory, identity, and cultural narratives while responding to the needs of contemporary users.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Product Design from Howest University of Applied Sciences and a Master's degree in Product Design from LUCA School of Arts / KU Leuven. With an earlier background in Electromechanics, Michel combines technical precision with conceptual thinking, allowing him to move seamlessly between research, material experimentation, and production.

Michel believes that good design begins with understanding people. By combining user-centered design, cultural research, and material exploration, he creates products that enrich everyday life while fostering dialogue, representation, and connection between communities.
